SIU 2025 Recent Results Poster Session - Call for Extended Abstracts

The 33rd IEEE Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU 2025) will feature a "Recent Results Poster Session". This session aims to rapidly review and share recently completed or ongoing original, current, and innovative research with participants.

Topics: All recent results within the main areas of SIU 2025, including but not limited to the following categories, are welcome:

• ●   Communications and Networks
• ●   Image Processing and Computer Vision
• ●   Signal Processing and Applications
• ●   Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• ●   Biomedical Signal/Image Processing and Applications

Submission Guidelines:

• ●   Participants must prepare a 1-page extended abstract according to the IEEE conference format.
• ●   Extended abstracts must be written in either Turkish or English.
• ●   For English submissions, templates can be found at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
• ●   For Turkish submissions, the template at https://siu2025.isikun.edu.tr/guidelines_en.php should be used. However, the one-page abstract should NOT anonymize authors or institutions, and should NOT include English titles or abstracts for Turkish submissions.

Submission Procedure: Extended abstracts should be uploaded in PDF format via Microsoft CMT at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SIU2025/ New users need to create a Microsoft CMT account.

Important Dates:

• ●   Submission Deadline: May 25, 2025
• ●   Notification of Acceptance: May 30, 2025
• ●   Registration Deadline: May 30, 2025

Evaluation and Acceptance Process:

• ●   Submissions will undergo a rapid review process.
• ●   Submissions will be evaluated based on novelty, originality, and potential impact.
• ●   Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during SIU 2025.

Registration and Presentation Guidelines for Accepted Posters:

• ●   At least one author must register for each accepted poster. The registration fee for the Recent Results session is 5000 TL for regular registration and 3500 TL for student authors. Registration conditions and scope align with regular and student author registrations for the main conference.
• ●   Authors of accepted extended abstracts must create and present their posters face-to-face in the poster area.

Important Note: Works presented in the Recent Results Poster Session will NOT be published in the IEEE Xplore digital library. Accepted extended abstracts will be included in the conference booklet distributed to participants.
